Karen Smith
Hi my name is Karen Smith and my business is Kare for the Body and Soul

I have lived in Southern Ontario for most of my life, but have travelled Canada extensively with my husband. We have lived in different parts of Ontario, Alberta and Nova Scotia. All of this travelling and actually living in these places has opened my heart and my mind to different areas and their cultural distinctions. I believe it was a wonderful opportunity that was given to me to be able to travel and see this beautiful country and to meet the wonderful people who live here. I have made so many truly special friends who will always stay in my heart no matter how far away they live.
In the end though, we all seem to gravitate homeward, so Southern Ontario is where my husband and I decided to stay and raise our son and this is where we remain.

Kare for the Body and Soul Inc. has been a dream of mine for several years. I have always wanted to have a business where I could offer clients the Spiritual Counselling that they may need and also be able to offer different modalities of healing. As well, to be able to share the things that I have learned on my spiritual journey, through my workshops makes me ecstatic!

I have been truly blessed in this life and am thankful everyday for the many blessings I have received in the past, and the ones I continue to receive on a day-to-day basis. God is good!!

Some of the blessings that I have received came in the form of some pretty tough lessons, but the good thing is that we learn from them and are able to move on and see each lesson for the blessing in disguise that it truly is. I have gone through many situations in my life that others would perceive difficult at best. I believe that a lot of the situations I have experienced have taught me humility and taught me to be less judgmental. It is what moulded my spirituality and helped me to find me. This, of course, doesn’t mean that I don’t have my moments like everyone else in this world, where I need to remind myself to be more humble or to be less judgmental. I am after all, human. So I do struggle with all of the same things that every other human being struggles with. It teaches me diligence, consistency and reminds me to stay in the present.

I will leave you with one of my favourite quotes as I truly believe this:

“A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances,
but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes.” Hugh Downs

Blessings to you!!
